Damco Netherlands BV is developing a greenfield cross-dock and warehouse facility at the Maasvlakte II in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. This new facility is intended to provide distribution and buffer storage services for ‘apparel / footwear / consumer electronics’ goods arriving by container through the APM Terminals at Maasvlakte II, to be distributed through the cross-dock to various offtake channels of customers.

The new cross-dock and warehouse building is planned next to the existing APMT MV II Container Terminal. Approximately 80.000m2 of land has been reserved at the southern end of the plot, where this building will be developed.

The development is carried out in two phases. The design should take into account the fact that the building can be expanded due to increasing activities of the terminal in the future. The new facility will be approximately 13.730m2 (including utility) in phase 1 with the option of expanding with approximately 9.510m2 in phase 2.
