Day 1: Sunday 2 October 2011 – Exclusively for GBCs
This is the one day each year when you can connect with your peers from GBCs around the world as we discuss:

Day 2: Monday 3 October 2011 – Open to industry
Invite your member companies to join us to gain valuable insight into the trends and strategies shaping the world’s green building industry. Interactive sessions will focus on:
- Existing buildings: experts in finance, carbon measurement and accounting will examine how to unlock the opportunities
- Cities and communities: hear how GBCs are moving beyond buildings to the challenges of building resilient, flexible and sustainable cities
- The value case for green building: does green really pay? Explore the macro and microeconomics in both developed and developing countries
- Emerging green building markets: find out where the potential lies in Brazil, Russia, India and China.
This year, WorldGBC’s Congress will feature market insights from local green building experts, as well as facilitated discussions that examine challenges, opportunities, standards and eco-labeling, as well as the growing influence of GBCs.
